The Government of Andhra Pradesh has approved the recruitment of 1392 posts that are vacant at the field level in AP Revenue Department. The Revenue ministry has forwarded the concerned file to the respective authorities. The recruitment will be taken up by APPSC soon and the Commission will release detailed advertisement with number of exact vacancies, fee, application procedure and exam pattern along with selection process. Following are the tentative vacancies:
1. Junior Assistants: 952 posts
2. Typist-cum- Computer Operator: 440 posts
The Government also has decided to change the nomenclature of Village Servants to Village Revenue Assistants.
Candidates have to apply online only through APPSC website for the revenue posts after the release of official notification. Candidates have download the fee challan and proceed with the online application process as described on the guidelines. The APPSC shall also mention the exam structure, model papers, old questions papers for the revenue posts.
