APPMB - Paramedical Jobs in AP 2012

The Government of Andhra Pradesh is gearing up to recruit 9717 candidates for various paramedical posts lying vacant in the state. AP Para-Medical Board (www.appmb.org), Department of Medical Education, Govt. of AP is likely to release recruitment notification in February 2012 for the posts of Multi Purpose Health Assistants (MPHA), Lab Technicians, Pharmacists and Staff Nurses. The department has already issued minimum educational qualifications and other eligibility requirements for the various posts. Following are details of vacancies and application procedure:

1) Multi- Purpose Health Assistants (MPHS - Female): 2476 posts
2) Multi- Purpose Health Assistants (MPHA - Male): 5444 posts
3) Lab Technicians: 873 posts
4) Pharmacists: 728 posts
5) Staff Nurses: 185 posts
6) Assistant Ophthalmologists: 11 posts

The Government of Andhra Pradesh is likely to entrust APPMB to fill all the paramedical vacancies as APPSC is on the spree of recruitments in 2012. The Paramedical Board will conduct a written examination for all the posts. Selection will be completely based on ranks in written test. Andhra Pradesh Para Medical Board (APPMB) will announce scheme of written test, syllabus along with recruitment notification. The APPMB is also thinking of publishing Question Banks with Questions and Answers which will be useful for job aspirants. The final decision will be taken by the end of January 2012 and notification may be released in the second week of February 2012. Guidelines for written examination will be finalised very soon.
