DSC 2012 Online Application- District, Subject Wise Vacancies

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced DSC 2012 Notification to recruit candidates for a record number of 21343 vacant school teachers posts falling into five categories. For the first time, DSC applications will be received online only through apdsc.cgg.gov.in between 16-02-2012 and 17-03-2012. The The DSC written test will be held on 4th May 2012. The vacancies are available in the positions of School Assistants (SA), Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT), Language Pandits (LP), Physical Education Teachers (PETs) in Government, Zilla Parishad (ZP), Mandal Parishad Schools (MPS) and Schools under the control of the Tribal Welfare Department and Municipalities in the State through District Selection Committee (DSC). District wise and category wise vacancies will be available along with information booklet available on apdsc.cgg.gov.in. or dseap.gov.in . The Government of Andhra Pradesh has recently issued New Guidelines for the DSC 2012. Here are details of eligibility, vacancies, selection and application procedure:

It is estimated that about 1.16 lakh teacher vacancies are available in Andhra Pradesh (AP). About 33413 posts will be filled through two recruitment notifications released now. The Government also released TET 2012 results to make it convenient for DSC-2012. Candidates those passed in APTET only will be eligible to appear for the DSC 2012. But there is no mention of Recounting and Revaluation of APTET answer / mark sheets. Following are details of category wise and district wise vacancies:

Qualifications: Candidates require qualifications based on the subject they are going to appear in DSC Examination. Subject wise qualifications are available in another post of this blog. The Government has given four grace marks in Paper 1 of APTET. In total, 50 percent of candidates qualified in APTET. The Govt. has recruited the teachers in 2008. You can see the DSC 2008 question paper to get an understanding of the nature of DSC written test. DSC 2012 application fee is Rs. 250. Online application link will be opened on apdsc.cgg.gov.in from 16th February 2012 and User Guide for online application will be available from 15th February 2012.
