The Government of Andhra Pradesh is gearing up for another round of VRO and VRA recruitment in 2012 or 2013. It is estimated that about 389 VRO and 2021 VRA posts are vacant after the recent recruitment. Along with VRO (Village Revenue Officers) and VRA (Village Revenue Assistants), there will be a total of 4620 vacancies in the positions of Deputy Tahasildars, Deputy Collectors, Senior Assistants, Junior Assistants, Surveyors and other posts. Details of new recruitment are yet to be finalized. Here we update latest info on the upcoming recruitments in Andhra Pradesh.
There was huge response for recent VRO and VRA recruitment conducted by CCLA of Govt. of AP. About 10 lakhs candidates applied for the VRO posts and more than 1 lakh applied for VRA jobs. The selections have been completed and the candidates are undergoing training in Hyderabad. They will be joining in service from 1st May 2012.
Education qualification for VRO jobs in pass in Intermediate. For, VRA posts, applicants must have completed SSC/ 10th Class. There is also a proposal to appoint VRAs as VROs if they qualify in Intermediate in the stipulated time. The Minister for Revenue, N. Raghuveera Reddy has asked the revenue department officials to make the proposals ready for the new recruitment of VROs and VRAs, Junior and Senior Assistants etc.
The CCLA will take up the new recruitment and candidates for the posts of Deputy Collectors, Deputy Tahasildars and Assistants will be recruited by APPSC. There will be written test for VRO and VRA recruitment. For other posts, APPSC will formulate selection procedure. More details will be updated here as soon as they are available. All the best.
