The results of written examinations conducted for the posts of Excise Constables in the Department of Prohibition and Excise in Andhra Pradesh will be released within 15 days. About 1 lakh candidates appeared for the written test held on 31st March 2013. 2606 Excise constables posts will be filled through this recruitment.
About 4.64 lakhs candidates applied for the excise constable posts. Out of these, 97000 candidates were appeared for written test after scrutiny through physical tests. The results are expected to be announced in the first week of April but delayed due to court cases are in pending related to 1994 recruitment.
The Public officials are trying to vacate the court case and release the results of excise constables as soon as possible. The marks of the qualified candidates will be displayed on the website cpe.cgg.gov.in .
Appointment letters / call letters will be issued by the District Deputy Commissioners. The entire recruitment process is likely to be completed by the end of April 2013.
