APCO Recruitment Procedure 2013 - Written Test and Interviews

There is some clarity on the APCO recruitment procedure in Andhra Pradesh. The three member committee formed to formulate the recruitment procedure has submitted its report to the Government of Andhra Pradesh. It suggested that the recruitment will be done through conducting written examination and personal interviews.

The committee has also suggested to fill all the vacancies with the candidates who have Graduation as the highest qualification. There are 162 vacancies in the positions of Technical Officers, Junior Assistants, Managers and Junior Managers in APCO.

The Government has already approved to fill these vacancies in August. But the recruitment process has not been finalised and formed a three member committee. The committee also suggested to give 70 percent weightage for written test and 15 percent weightage to personal interviews.

Candidates those worked in relevant associations will get 1 grace mark. Weightage also will be given to Diploma candidates with textile and related specializations. Candidates will be shortlisted for personal interviews in 1:2 ration. The final decision is yet to be taken by the Government.
