The Supreme Court of India has cancelled the Group 1 Main examination and Interviews conducted by APPSC (Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission) in 2011. The Supreme Court has ordered the APPSC to prepare new merit list and conduct Main examinations again.
The Supreme Court delivered it's judgement on the petition to remove 6 questions from the Group 1 Prelims examinations conducted in 2011. The Apex Court has ordered the APPSC to delete the six questions for which answers were given wrong and also asked the APPSC to prepare a new merit list accordingly.
The order came in the light of some candidates moving the Supreme Court on the wrong answers in Group 1 Preliminary Examination question paper. It is most unlikely that the APPSC may reconduct the exam in the present situation in Andhra Pradesh.
