Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Akhilesh Yadav has announced on Tuesday that the Government will recruit 35000 candidates for Constables through marks secured in 10th Class / SSC and Intermediate / 10+2 examinations. There will be no more written examinations for the Constables recruitment in UP. The physical tests will be conducted for all the candidates.
The candidates will be recruited through marks obtained in 10th and 12th Classes and physica tests. The appointments will be done after training to the selected candidates.
The UP Government's decision has come in the wake of Allahabad High Court order in September 2015 restraining Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Board from issuing appointment lorders to more than 38,000 candidates who were declared successful in tests.
The results of the exams have faced controversies and several petitioners moved the course saying that there were lacunae in the results declared by the Police Recruitment Board.
