The Telangana State Level Eligibility Test (TSTET) has been postponed by the Government of Telangana. The Chief Minister of Telangana has ordered the authorities to postpone the TSTET 2016 examination and make alternative arrangements to held the examination by 20th April 2016.
The TSTET has been postponed in the wake of the repeated threats by the private college managements to non-cooperate with the Government until the later stops the police inspections in the colleges / educational institutions.
The Chief Minister has warned the private college managements to bend down and informed that the inspections will continue for the improvement of quality in education. The new exam date for TSTET 2016 will be announced by the Government soon.
TSTET is eligibility test for teachers recruitment to be conducted by the Government of Telangana. More than 4 lakhs candidates have applied for the TS TET originally scheduled to held on 1st May 2016.
