Central Teacher Eligibility Test - CTET September 2016 Notification

The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will be conducting the
10th Edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 18
September 2016. The qualified candidates will be eligible for
appointment as a teacher for class I to VIII.

Eligibility: Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes
I-V (Primary Stage): Candidates need Senior Secondary Certificate with
at least 50 percnet marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-
year Diploma in Elementary Education. Or Senior Secondary with at
least 45 percent marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-
year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 percent marks
and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of
Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Or Senior Secondary with at least 50
percent marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma
in Education (Special Education) are also eligible.

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII
(Elementary Stage): Candidates need Graduation and passed or appearing
in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education. Candidates
with Graduation with at least 50 percent marks and passed or appearing
in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Or Graduation with at least 45
percent marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education
(B.Ed) are also eligible.

Candidates can apply online through CTET website. Last date for
submission of fee through E-challan or Debit/ Credit Card is 19 July
2016.
