The Government of Andhra Pradesh has approved to fill Assistant Professor vacancies in the academic year 2016-17 in various state level universities in the state. There are 1105 posts in various universities for this year.
Total vacancies are 1385 in the positions of professors, associate professors and assistant professors. 1104 posts will be filled in the first phase and another 281 posts will be filled in the second phase recruitment.

Andhra University: 276 posts
Sri Venkateswara University: 151 posts
Acharya Nagarjuna University: 105 posts
Sri Krishna Devaraya University: 95 posts
Sri Padmavathi Womens University: 18 posts
Dravidian University: 14 posts
Yogi Vemana University: 51 posts
JNTU Anantapur: 113 posts
JNTU Kakinada: 24 posts
Adikavi Nannaya University: 39 posts
Dr BR Ambedkar University, Srikakulam: 49 posts
Krishna University: 42 posts
Rayalaseema University: 60 posts
Vikrama Simhapuri University: 74 posts.
The Government of AP is likely to entrust the responsibility of filling these vacancies to APPSC. The commission will be releasing notifications after due approvals from the Government.
