APPSC Group 2 Final Syllabus for Paper 1 General Studies Exam

The APPSC has released final and detailed syllabus for Group 2 recruitment. There will be three papers in Group 2 written examination. The syllabus for the Paper 1 (General Studies) is given below:

GROUP-II Services (Paper -I General Studies Syllabus)

1. Events of national and inter national importance.
2. Current affairs- inter national, national and regional.
3. General Science and it applications to the day to day life Contemporary developments in Science & Technology and Information Technology
4. Social- economic and political history of modern India with emphases on Indian national movement.
5. Indian polity and governance: constitutional issues, public policy, reforms and e-governance initiatives.

6. Economic development in India since independence.
7. Physical geography of India sub-continent.
8. Disaster management: vulnerability profile, prevention and mitigation strategies, Application of Remote Sensing and GIS in the assessment
of Disaster
9. Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection
10. Logical reasoning, analytical ability and data interpretation.

11. Data Analysis:
a) Tabulation of data
b) Visual representation of data
c) Basic data analysis (Summary Statistics such as mean and variance coefficient of variation etc.) and Interpretation.

AP Police SI Recruitment Zone Wise Vacancies - 2016

The Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board (APSLPRB) has released recruitment notification - 2016 for the posts of Sub Inspectors. The vacancies in Civil and AR categories are 707. Following are zonal wise vacancies in Civil and AR categories of posts in police department.

986 Aided Teachers Recruitment in Andhra Pradesh - 2016

The Government of Andhra Pradesh is likely to fill aided teachers posts in the state very soon. There are 986 vacancies across the state. The HRD minister of the state Ganta Srinivasa Rao has informed that the the Government will be filling these vacancies through either DSC or in the previous procedure.

The AP Government is presently conducting recruitments for Group 2 posts and SI and Constables vacancies. Written examinations for Police Constables and Sub Inspectors are already over.

Group 2 preliminary examinations are scheduled in February 2017 and main examinations will be held in May 2017. The Government has also extended the last date for the submission of applications for Group 2 recruitment till 15th December 2016.
