NTR Vidyonnathi Scheme 2016 Exam Process and Pattern of Exam - Prelims and Mains Integrated Guidance

Examination Process: An entrance test shall be conducted to select the students to sponsor to empanell reputed Institutes for the Professional Guidance for Civil Services Examinations under NTR Vidyonnathi Scheme. Online Applications will be called through website.

Entrance test will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological
University, Kakinada (JNTUK), Andhra Pradesh as per the directions of Social welfare department and Tribal welfare department, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh.

Pattern of Examination:
The entrance exam will be objective type, 150 questions for 150 marks with 180 minutes time duration. Answers shall be marked on OMR sheet (with ball point pen (blue or black), Pencil shall not be used.

Questions will be in both English & Telugu. Question paper booklets shall be printed in A,B,C,D series. Booklets can be taken away by the candidates.

i) Prelims cum Mains Integrated Guidance:

a) An advertisement will be issued in one prominent Telugu News Paper and also placed in the website, calling for applications from the
eligible SC/ST students, whose annual family income is less than
Rs.6.00 lakhs.

b) Students should have passed any degree course.

c) An entrance examination will be conducted to select the meritorious candidates. Atleast 33% of the seats will be allotted for women for Prelims cum Mains programme.

d) 3% of the seats will be allotted to the disabled candidates as per
norms.
e) The selection of SC candidates shall be based on the percentage of the population of sub-caste among the Scheduled Castes and to the total population of the Scheduled Castes of the districts. For this purpose, the data, as annexed to G.O.Ms.No.25 SW (SCP) Dept., dt.1-5-2015 (copy enclosed) shall be taken into consideration and each district is to be treated as a unit for determining the ratio to extend the benefits.

ii) Mains Guidance: All SC/ST candidates belonging to the State of
Andhra Pradesh and qualified in the prelims CSAT examination and
whose annual family income is less than Rs.6.00 lakhs will be eligible
for admission into this programme.

iii) Personality Test Guidance: All SC/ST candidates belonging to the
State of Andhra Pradesh and qualified in the Mains examination and
whose annual family income is less than Rs.6.00 lakhs will be eligible
for admission into this programme.
