SI Posts Recruitment in AP - Age Limits and Educational Qualifications 2016

State Level Police Recruitment Board of AP (APSLPRB) has released SI (Sub Inspectors) recruitment notification - 2016 for vacancies in Civil and AR categories, deputy jailors and assistant matrons etc. Following are details of posts and eligibility requirements such as age and educational qualifications:

AP Constables Recruitment - 2016

1) Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Sub Inspectors of Police (Civil) (Men and Women) in Police Department: 355 posts

2) Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Reserve Sub Inspectors of Police (AR) (Men and Women) in Police Department: 113 posts

3) Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Reserve Sub Inspectors of Police (SAR CPL) (Men) in Police Department: 9 posts

4) Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Reserve Sub Inspectors of Police (APSP) (Men) in Police Department: 209 posts

5) Deputy Jailor in Prisons and Correctional Services Department (Men): 16 posts

6) Assistant Matron in Prisons and Correctional Services Department (Women): 5 posts

Age Requirements:

For posts 1, 2, 3 and 4, candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years as on 1st July, 2016. They must have been born not earlier than 2nd
July, 1989 and not later than 1st July, 1995. Government of Andhra Pradesh has relaxed upper age limit for Recruitment in
Police Department by 2 Years.

For posts 5, candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st July, 2016. They must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1986 and not later than 1st July, 1995.

For posts 6, candidates should have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years as on 1st July, 2016. means they must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1991 and not later than 1st July, 1995.

Apart from these, usual age relaxations for SC, ST and OBC candidates will apply as per the rules of the Government.

Educational Qualifications:

For posts 1, 2, 3 and 4 categories, candidates should have a degree in any discipline. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes must have passed Intermediate or any other equivalent examination and should have studied Degree. For posts in 5 and 6 categories, candidates must have passed in degree in any discipline.
