BSNL Direct Junior Accounts Officers Recruitment Exam on 5th November 2017

The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced recruitment notification for the post of Direct Junior Accounts Officers (D JAO) in BSNL from open market through online competitive examination - 2017. The registration process for DJAO will commence from 11 September 2017 and the closing date for the same is 15th October 2017. Online applications can be submitted at www.externalexam.bsnl.co.in .

Total Vacancies: 996
Reservations: OC - 497, BC - 269, SC - 153, ST - 77, PWD - 30.

Scale of Pay: Rs. 16400 - 40500 with an annual increment at 3 percent of basic pay puls IDA, HRA, Perks and other benefits as per the company guidelines.

Eligibility Requirements:

Candidates should be Indian nationals and age should be between 20 - 30 years as on 1st January 2017. The upper age limit is relaxable for reserved candidates.

Educational Qualifications: Must have passed in any one of M.Com/ CA/ ICWAI / CS as on 1st January 2017.

Selection Procedure:

There will be online competitive examination which will be held on 5th November 2017. The syllabus for written examination is provided below:

Scheme of the examination:

There will be two papers.

Paper 1: General English and General Aptitude / Awareness

General English: 100 marks (short answer / objective type)
General Awareness / Aptitude: 50 marks (Objective type)
Duration of the exam: 3 hours

Paper 2: Finaicial and Commercial Accounts. This includes financial management / cost accounting / tax and commercial laws.
Marks: 300 (Objective type)
Duration: 3 hours

Syllabus:

1) General English: Comprehension, Grammar, Usage and Vocabulary.

2) General Aptitude / Awareness: Current affairs, Indian Polity and Economy, General Mental Ability, Test of Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.

3) Financial and Commercial Accounts: This includes advanced accounting, auditing, financial management, financial statements, financial management in public sector companies and bare acts.
