JKC Student Registrations in AP for 2010-11

The innovative concept of 'Jawahar Knowledge Centers' started by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh is yielding good results with number of Engineering / MCA students grabing placements in reputed MNCs. 'Jawahar Knowledge Centers' are popular as JKCs in AP. JKCs are offering a job oriented training for students of Engineering and other professional course like MBA and MCA to improve their employbility skills. You can not expect a Job skill training program like JKC for Rs. 3000 in any private short term training institutes. Institute for Electronic Governance (IEG) is conducting placement training progrmas for JKC students across the state of Andhra Pradesh. Students will be trained in reasoning, communication, soft skills and other placement related skills. Students also will be trained for written tests of certification programs like Oracle, Microsoft, DB2, MES etc. IEG inviting registrations from Engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) / MCA / MBA students for training starting from academic year 2010-11.

Following is the eligibility criteria for student registration:

Candidate must be a regular student of the JKC Registered College / Institution. The respective JKC institution should be registered / renewed for the academic year 2010 – 11 with JKC.
Candidates pursuing the following courses are eligible:
B.Tech : 2nd , 3rd and 4th Year students (2011, 2012 and 2013 passing outs)
MCA : 2nd and 3rd Year students (2011 and 2012 passing outs)
MBA : 2nd Year students (2011 passing outs)
Candidates those already registered with JKC during the previous academic years need not register / renew their registration again.
There is no constraint with regard to academic performance of the candidates to register for JKC. Companies shall decide the eligibility criteria of the candidate to participate in their recruitment drive at the time of placements.

Registration Procedure:

Applications are available in the IEG website mentioned below. There are different applications for B.Tech., MCA and MBA candidates. Candidates can download the applications from IEG website. JKC Registered colleges list also available on the website. Filled in applications have to be submitted to JKC Incharge at respective colleges. Registration fee: Rs. 3000 (one time fee only)
