APPSC Recruitment 2011-2012 for Group-1, Group-2, Lecturers, Assistants, SIs, Officers and Constable Posts

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is gearing up to issue recruitment notifications for various posts during 2011 and 2012. The APPSC has about 15000 posts on its hand for which 40 to 50 separate recruitment notifications will be issued shortly. Out of these 3637 posts will be filled through personal interviews in a phased manner. Written examinations will be conducted for 2404 posts in various departments. Many of the notifications are likely to be released during December 2011 and APPSC Chairperson Rachal Chatterjee and Secretary Poonam Malakondaiah are holding consultations on this issue. Following are details of vacancies for which APPSC will release recruitment notifications:

1) Junior Lecturers in AP Govt. Junior Colleges: 4413 posts
2) Assistant Engineers (AEs), AEE (Assistant Executive Engineers) in R and B, Panchayat Raj and Irrigation departments: 2000 posts
3) Junior Assistants in various departments: 1500 posts
4) Vocational Department: 1292 posts
5) Hostel Welfare Officers (Grae-1): 600 posts
6) Group-2 All Categories: 559 posts
7) Degree College Lecturers in Govt. Degree Colleges: 489 posts
8) Group-1 Recruitment: 243 vacancies
9) Physical Directors: 257 posts
10) Constables (Transport): 214 posts
11) Deputy Surveyor (Land Records): 432 posts
12) Polytechnic College Lecturers: 188 posts
13) Supervisors Grade-1 in Women and Child Welfare Department: 314 posts
14) SI in Central Excise Dept.: 211 posts
15) Industrial Promotion Officer: 115 posts
16) CDPOs (Child and Development Officer): 107 posts
17) Assistant Civil Surgeons: 100 posts
18) Assistant Section Officer (ASO): 114 posts
19) Extension Officer in Panchayat Raj and R and B Depts.

Written examination for Junior Lecturers Recruitment has been postponed due to free zone issue. Interviews for the recruitment of Degree College Lecturers will be conducted from 8th November 2011. The Govt. of Andhra Pradesh has issued a GO 420 to recruit candidates for all posts with out any interviews, except of Group-1 recruitment.
