AP Latest Recruitments - MEO, DyEO, DPRO, Panchayat Services Posts 2012

The Government of Andhra Pradesh will be recruiting Panchayat Secretaries across the state. there are 2677 vacancies in all the districts. Selection will be through DSCs and based on performance in written examination which will consist of objective multiple choice questions. Graduation is the minimum qualification. The Commissioner of Panchayat Services will released detailed guidelines for the recruitment of Panchayat Secretaries very soon and notification will be announced afterward. Here are some more recruitment updates on Govt. of AP:

The Government of Andhra Pradesh is also proposed fill thousands of vacancies in various other departments such as Panchayat Secretaries (2677 posts in all districts), Municipalities, Excise Constables, Junior Assistants and Computer Operators in Revenue department. APPSC is in the process of finalizing terms for these notifications. Details will be displayed on the website www.apspsc.gov.in after the announcement of notification.

1) MEO, DyEO, Inspector of Schools Posts: The Government of Andhra Pradesh is likely to entrust the responsibility of recruitment for the posts of Mandal Education Officers (MEOs) to APPSC. There are 816 vacancies in MEO category out of a total of 1127 posts in the state. Vacancies are also available in Inspector of Schools and another 80 Deputy Education Officer posts (DyEO). The teachers unions are demanding for the recruitment of MEO posts through promotions of head masters of the schools. The Government is contemplating to fill 30 percent vacancies through direct recruitment.

2) DPRO Posts: The Government of Andhra Pradesh has agreed to recruit candidates for the posts of District Public Relations Officers (DPROs). There are 572 vacancies available in various districts out of a total of 2075 posts. The posts remain vacant for more than two decades. This will be good employment opportunity for the candidates with qualifications in mass communication, public relations and journalism.

3) The Central Government has accepted to recruit 40000 candidates for various posts in Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Services. These vacancies are available in the positions of Panchayat Development Officers, Junior Engineers, Accountants cum Data Entry Officers, Assistant Extension Officers etc. Eligibility for these posts is Degree, Intermediate and 10th class and will be based on the nature of the post. 4) Excise Constables Recruitment: The Govt. of AP will be recruiting Excise Constables after a long time. There will be about 1500 posts for which notification is likely to be announced very soon. Tenth Class passed candidates are eligible for these jobs. Selection will be through Physical Test and Written Examination.

5) Constables in Transport Department: The Government of Andhra Pradesh is gearing up to fill the vacancies of Constables in the Transport Department. There are 214 vacancies in the department. The recruitment notification is most likely to be announced by the end of December 2011 OR January 2012. Eligibility for these posts is pass in 10th Class / SSC. Selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in written examination, physical tests and medical examination.
