Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant - Pilots Recruitment 2012

The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) is inviting applications for the posts of Assistant Commandant (Pilot) to be appointed as a Group A Gazetted Officer in the pay scale of Rs.15600 - 39100 with Grade Pay Rs 5400. Selection will be made by Indian Coast Guard Selection Board, A-1, Sector -24, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Interested candidates should reach this address by 08-30 AM on 07 May 2012. The recruitment is for the CPL candidates and an additional opportunity to the advertisement issued in mid January 2012.

Qualification: Applicants should have passed in 12th class or equivalent with at least 55 percent marks and should possess current / valid Commercial Pilot license (CPL) duly approved by (DGCA) at the time of date of registration. Selected candidates will be appointed as Assistant Commandant {Commercial Pilot Licence) for Short Service Appointment} as Helicopter and Fixed wing pilots. The tenure of the appointment will be for 08 years and this may be extended to 10 years and further up to 14 years. Both men and women candidates who are unmarried and born between 01 July 1985 and 30 June 1993 can apply.

Selection will be based on Preliminary Selection and Medical Tests. There will be Mental Ability Test and Picture Perception and Discussion Tests in Preliminary Selection. Those qualified in this will be sent to Final Selection Board which will conduct Psychological Test, Group Testing and Interview.
