Group 1, Group 2, Panchayat Secretaries, Engineer Vacancies in Andhra Pradesh - 2016

The APPSC (Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission) is gearing up to announce notifications for as many as 4000 posts in various deparments. Vacancies are available in Group 1, Group 2, Group 3, Technical and other departments. There are about 6000 vacancies in police and jails departments. The proposed 4000 vacancies are in various departments as mentioned below:

Group 1 Vacancies:

Deputy Collectors: 3 posts
DSP: 24 posts
ACTOs (Assistant Commercial Tax Officers): 13 posts
Municipal Commissioners: 13 posts
Excise and prohibition Assistant Superintendents: 10 posts
District Sainik Welfare officers: 2 posts
District Social welfare officers: 4 posts
District Registrars: 8 posts
Assistant Commissioners in Labour Department: 10 posts

Group 2 Vacancies:

Municipal Commissioners in Grade 3: 12 posts
Deputy Tahasildars: 250 posts
Auditors: 35 posts
Senior Accounts Officers: 180 posts
Junior Accounts Officers: 35 posts
Assistant Section Officers: 97 posts
Assistant Commercial Tax Officers (ACTOs): 90 posts

Group 3 vacancies:
Panchayat Secretaries: 1000 posts

Technical / Engineering Posts:

Town and Country Planning: 13 posts
Tribal welfare and engineering department: 40 posts
Geology department: 53 posts
Public Health and Engineering: 210 posts
Labour department: 4 posts
Deputy Surveyors: 200 posts
Engineers in Irrigation department: 350 posts
Engineers in Panchayat Raj department: 88 posts
Mines and Geology: 30 posts
Assistant Directors in Planning Department: 8 posts

Other vacancies:

Disaster Management department: 107 posts
Sainik welfare: 20 posts
BC, SC and ST welfare: 125 posts
College Education (Lecturers): 235 posts
Animal Husbandry - doctors: 304 posts
Planning department: 30 posts
Medical and Health department: 422 posts (Mostly Civil Assistant Surgeons posts).

The CM office is yet to approve the vacancies and issue GO. The APPSC will start the recruitment process after the issue of GO by the AP Government.
