After the huge success of first round of the scheme, Department of Social Welfare and Tribal Welfare, Government of Andhra Pradesh (AP) has issued notification for NTR Vidyonnathi Scheme 2016 (www.ntrvidyonnathi.org) for free coaching for SC and ST candidates appearing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination in 2017. The JNTU Kakinada will conduct an entrance examination for the selection of candidates for NTR Vidyonnathi Scheme.
Age of the candidates should be between 21 - 37 years as on 1st August 2016. Maximum age limit for PWD candidates is 42 years. Candidates should have Degree / Graduation in any discipline.

Online Application Procedure and Check List
Income limit: Annual parental income of the candidates should be less than Rs. 2 lakhs. Interested candidates can submit online applications through the website www.ntrvidyonnathi.org. 250 SC candidates and 100 ST candidates will be selected for this free coaching program.

3) Download of hall tickets from the website: From 16th August 2016
4) Date of Entrance exam: 21 August 2024
5) Exam centers: Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Guntur, Tirupati, Hyderabad.
Entrance exam will be conducted as per the syllabus of the UPSC Civils preliminary exam - 2017. There will be only one paper for 150 marks. Details of scheme and syllabus of the exam are available on the website www.ntrvifyonnathi.org .
