The Government of Andhra Pradesh is proposed to fill as many as 1386 vacancies in state universities in the coming years. In the first phase 1105 faculty posts will be filled in various universities and the remaining 281 vacancies will be filled in the second phase of recruitment.
APPSC will issue recruitment notifications for the posts of Assistant professors. The vacancies in the positions of associate professors and professors will be filled through personal interviews.
The state universities in Andhra Pradesh are Andhra University, Sri Venkateswara University, Nagarjuna Universities, Vikrama Simhapuri University, Rayalaseema University, Adikavi Nannaya University, Krishna University etc.
The Government of AP has approved the vacancies after the completion of rationalisation process. Details of university wise vacancies will be announced by APPSC along with notifications.
