Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL - Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, Visakhapatnam) requires candidates for the posts of Junior Trainees of Instrumentation Branch. Total vacancies are 19. RINL - VSP is a Navaratna company.
Age: 27-30 years as on 1st July 2017
Qualifications: Candidates need SSC with full time ITI / Diploma in Engineering in the following Trades/ Disciplines (60 percent marks in regular ITI / Diploma in Engineering for Gen / OBC candidates, 50 percent marks for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates).
Eligible Branches: Instrument Mechanic, Electronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering.
Eligible Courses: Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering / Diploma in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering / Diploma in Electronics Engineering / Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Candidates with Professional degrees e.g., BE/B.Tech, BL, BHMS etc., MBA / Post Graduation or above
are not eligible. Preference will be given to Displaced Persons (DPs) of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP). Female candidates are also eligible to apply.
Selection Procedure:
Written Test will be conducted on General Aptitude (including knowledge in English and Telugu) and Domain (Instrumentation). Test papers will be set in bilingual in English and Telugu. Candidates’ shortlisted based on performance in written test will be called for Certificate Verification. Merit list will be prepared separately for each category and candidates will be selected as per the vacancies in each category.
Selection will be through Written Test and Certificate Verification. Candidates will have to appear for the written test at their own cost. Written test will be conducted at test centre(s) in Andhra Pradesh. Likely date for Written Test is 20th August 2017 (Sunday).
