Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced recruitment notification for the posts of Assistants in various branches of the Bank. There are 623 vacancies. Selection procedure consists of preliminary and main examination and Language Proficiency Test.

Eligibility Requirements: Age as on 01/10/2017
Should be between 20 and 28 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/10/1989 and not later than 01/10/1997.
Educational Qualifications (as on 01.10.2017):
Candidates need at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50 percent marks (pass class for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates) in the aggregate. Candidates also require the knowledge of word processing.
Selection Procedure: Two stages: Preliminary and Main and Language Proficiency Test.
Scheme of Exam: Preliminary Exam:
English Language: 30 questions - 30 marks
Numerical Ability: 35 questions - 35 marks
Reasoning Ability: 35 questions - 35 marks
Duration: 1 Hour (Composite)
Reasoning: 40 questions - 40 marks (30 minutes)
English Language: 40 questions - 40 marks (30 minutes)
Numerical Ability: 40 questions - 40 marks (30 minutes)
General Awareness: 40 questions - 40 marks (25 minutes)
Computer Knowledge: 40 questions - 40 marks (25 minutes)
Language Proficiency Test: in Official / Local Language. Candidates not proficient in local / official language will be disqualified.
