It is raining jobs in Telangana State. Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrasekhar Rao has approved 9200 Panchayat Secretary posts across the state. The CM has ordered the officials to start the recruitment process in a week and complete the same within two months.
The Government has instructed the officials that every village in the state should have a Panchayat Secretary irrespective of the size of the village. The recruitment process has been changed for these posts.
Probation for 3 years:
KCR has asked the officials to frame guidelines fixing 3 years as probation period for the newly appointed Panchayat Secretaries. They will be regularised after the review of their performance. The salary will be Rs. 15000 during probation period.
Rule of reservations and district cadre system also will be followed in the recruitment of Panchayat Secretaries.
There are 12751 Village Panchayats in Telangana. The Government has recently formed several new panchayats. With this 9200 vacancies of Panchayat Secretaries have arised. The guidelines of the recruitment will be released soon.
