Canara Bank Probationary Officers Recruitment for 800 Vacancies - 2018

Canara Bank, one of the Public Sector Banks in India has come out with a big recruitment notification. The bank has released notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officers in Junior Management Grade Scale 1 on successful completion of Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) course.

Details of Vacancies:

Total vacancies are marked as 800 in the position of Probationary Officers. These reservations are as follows:
SC: 120 posts
ST: 60 posts
OBC: 216 posts
General: 404 posts

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates need any degree /graduation with at least 60 percent marks in any discipline. SC / ST / PWBD candidates need minimum 55 percent marks.

Age Requirement:

Minimum age is 20 years and maximum age is 30 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02-10-1988 and not later than 01-10-1998.

The PGDBF program will be jointly conducted by Canara Bank and Manipal Glocal Education Services - Bengaluru OR NITTE Education International Private Limited - Greater Noida.

Online Applications:

Interested candidates may apply online only through www.canarabank.com . Online applications commences from 23 October 2018 and the same will close on 13 November 2018. Online selection examination will be conducted on 23 December 2018.

Hall Tickets for Online Exam:

Admit Cards / Hall Tickets for the online written exam will be released by Canara Bank at least a weak before the commencement of the examination on the website www.canarabank.com .

Financial Assistance:

Canara Bank will also offer financial assistance to the candidates selected into the PGDBF program. They will be offered stipend during the probation and will be offered job after completion of the program.
