High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad (For Telangana and Andhra Pradesh) has stayed the TSPSC Group 2 recruitment process till further orders. The Hyderabad High Court has ordered the TSPSC to file counter to a petition filed by various individuals over irregularities in Group 2 recruitment process for 1032 posts.
Justice MS Ramachandra Rao of Hyderabad High Court has stayed the Group 2 recruitment process. Two petitions were filed by V Ramachandra Reddy and 14 others and P Sricharandas Goswami and 20 other graduates who appeared for the written test held in November 2016.
The petitioners have charged the TSPSC with mismanaging the whole recruitment process. It is alleged that the TSPSC has evaluated some answer sheets manually with ulterior motives.
Some candidates have also raised objections claiming that those who got less marks than them were included in the selected list. Irregularities are also reported in the process of certificate verification.

TSPSC announces Group 2 Results - Certificate Verification on 12th June 2017
Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has announced results of Group 2 recruitment for notifications 17/2017 and 20/2015. Results notification and verification of certificates has been released by the commission on 2nd June 2017.
Selection with 1:3 Ratio:
The candidates with the mentioned Register Numbers have been provisionally admitted in the ratio 1:3 for the verification of
Certificates. After verification of original certificates, provisional list of eligible candidates for interview (Oral Test) will be announced separately.
Certificates Verification Dates:
The verification of Certificates will be held at Stanley College of Engineering & Technology for Women, Chapel Road, Abids from 12.06.2024 onwards. Day wise Schedule of the verification of certificates will be hosted in Commission’s Website on 02.06.2017. The candidates are requested to obtain and keep ready all the certificates as mentioned in the Notification.
In respect of posts of Prohibition and Excise Sub-Inspector (Post code No: 5), the candidates have to undergo a Medical Examination before the competent Medical Board at Hyderabad and the P.H. Candidates have to undergo Medical Examination at respective Medical Boards.

APPSC Changes Exam Dates for DL, Group 2 and Panchayat Secretary Main Exams - 2017
APPSC has changed the examination schedules for Group 2 main, Panchayat secretary main exams and Degree lecturers recruitment exams. The changed dates are as follows:

APPSC Postpones Group 2 Main Exams to 15th, 16th July 2017
APPSC has postponed Group 2 Main examinations scheduled to be held on 20th and 21st of May 2017. The Group 2 main exams will now be held on 15th and 16th of July 2017.
The APPSC has taken the decision to postpone the exam after considering several requests from the candidates. The APPSC has also postponed the Panchayat Secretary main exam which has to be held on 16th July 2017.
APPSC has shortlisted 49100 candidates for Group 2 main examination. Candidates have requested the commission to postpone the exam as the time is not sufficient to prepare for the examination with the new syllabus.
APPSC has invited the opinion of the candidates on the postponement of the exam. Majority of the candidates have voted for the postponement. This is the first of its kind APPSC seeking candidates opinion before taking a decision on postponement of the exam.

The APPSC has conducted Group 2 screening test / preliminary examination on 26th February 2017. About 4.82 lakhs candidates have appeared for the screening test.
Answer sheets of 12000 candidates have not been evaluated due to errors in the hall ticket numbers on OMR sheets. There will be Group 2 Main examination for those qualified in Preliminary exam.
The APPSC has introduced screening test for Group 2 and various other recruitments from 2016. The results of Group 2 screening test will be available on APPSC website at psc.ap.gov.in .

APPSC Group 2 Screening Test Results on 30th or 31st March 2017
The APPSC will be releasing Group 2 Preliminary exam results on 30th or 31st March 2017. It is observed that OMR sheets of about 12000 candidates have not been valuated due to wrong mention of hall ticket number on the sheets.
Several candidates have wrongly filled the circles on the OMR sheets and the numbers and filled circles did not match resulting in invalid OMR answer sheets. Candidates have requested the APPSC to rectify those mistakes but the commission has declined these requests as the rules does not permit to do so.
The results of APPSC Group 2 screening test / preliminary exam are scheduled to be announced on 30th or 31st of March 2017. The exam was held on 26th February 2017. About 4.62 lakhs candidates were appeared for Group 2 examination.

APPSC Deletes Three Questions from Group 2 Screening Test - 2017
The APPSC has announced that three questions from Group 2 screening test evaluation due to various reasons. The framing of questions and options have been given wrong in those three questions. Hence the Group 2 question paper will be evaluated for 147 questions. The explanation given by APPSC for those three questions along with two other mistakes in the offical key.
Question: The annual real growth rate of GDP of India in 2014-15 is:
Decision of APPSC: The answer is pre-revised figure. The answer is revised to 7.2% in January, 2016. As there is no correct answer, the question is deleted.
Question: The bronze medal of Yogeshwar Dutt in Wrestling in 2012 London Olympics was upgraded to silver because the following wrester failed dope test.
Decision of APPSC: There is an error in the framing of the question. Instead of
"was upgraded", it should have been "was to be upgraded". The question is deleted.
Question: As per Agricultural Census, 2010-11, small and medium holdings constitute about 85% of the total number of holdings in India but the operated area of these holdings out of the total operated area is only.
Decision of APPSC: The question is wrongly worded. Instead of "small and
marginal", small and medium is used and there is no correct answer. Therefore, the question is deleted.
Question: Budget of Government of India used to be presented as per tradition at 5 30 P M in the Lok Sabha. In which year, the time of presentation was shifted to 11 00 A M.
Decision of APPSC: The correct option is 1. It was in February, 1999, the then FM, Yashwant Sinha presented the budget at 11 AM.

APPSC Group 2 Official Preliminary Key for Screening Test - 2017
APPSC will be releasing Group - 2 recruitment preliminary key / primary key of the examination held on 26th February 2017. The official preliminary key for all A, B, C and D series papers will be available on APPSC website at www.psc.ap.gov.in .
About 5 lakhs candidates have appeared for the Group 2 screening test. The results of the screening test are expected to be out by the end of March 2017.
The question papers and experts key are available on the website of Sakshi Education and Eenadu Pratibha. The same may also be downloaded from Andhra Jyothy website.

TSPSC Group 2 Final Key Released for All Papers
Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) Hyderabad has issued notification informing that the final key for Group - II services recruitment has been displayed on the website www.tspsc.gov.in .
TSPSC has conducted the written examination for Group - 2 services on 11th November and 13th November 2016 across the state of Telangana.
The Preliminary keys of the examination were hosted on Commission website on 2nd December 2016. The objections on the preliminary keys were received online from 5th December 2016 to 14th December 2016.
The final keys of the TSPSC Group 2 examination will be available on the website from 11 January 2017. No further objections will be entertained on these final keys.

677 Candidates for Each Post in APPSC Group 2 Recruitment - 2016
More than 6.5 lakhs applications have been received by the APPSC for Group 2 screening test as on the last date for the submission of online applications on 18th December 2016. It is estimated that 677 candidates are appearing for each Group - 2 post in Andhra Pradesh.
APPSC will be filling as many as 982 vacancies through Group 2 recruitment for which 6,55,729 candidates have applied for various categories of posts.
The vacancies include Municipal commissioners, ACTOs, Sub Registrars, Excise SIs, Assistant Section Officers, Junior Assistants and other categories.
It is learnt that the number of applications have been less due to the lengthy process of recruitment. APPSC has introduced screening test / preliminary test for Group 2 from this notification.

APPSC Group 2 Application Last Date Extended till 15th December 2016
Here is the latest update with regard to APPSC Group 2 recruitment announcement. Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has informed that the last date for the submission of online applications has been extended till 15th December 2016.
The Commission has announced that in the light of the inconvenience that is caused to applicants due to slow response AP Online services, the last date for filing applications for Group 2 services has been extended.
Candidates are advised by APPSC not to wait till the last date and fill their applications immediately as there would be no further extension of the last date. For more information and online application submission, see psc.ap.gov.in .

TSPSC Group 2 Key and Answers for Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3 and Paper 4 of All Question Papers
The TSPSC (Telangana State Public Service Commission) Group 2 written examinations are scheduled on 11th and 13th November 2016. The key along with question papers for SET - A, SET - B, SET - C and SET - D will be available here after the completion of the examination.
Paper 1 (General Studies and General Abilities) will be held from 10 AM to 12-30 PM and Paper 2 (History, Polity and Society) will be conducted from 2-30 PM to 5 PM on 11th November 2016. The official / preliminary key will not be released by the TSPSC on the same day.
The private key with subject experts will be available on the websites sakshieducation.com , namasthetelangaana.com and eenadupratibha.net . We upload the key / answers for Paper 1 and Paper 2 of TSPSC Group 2 examination.
Group 2 examination Paper 3 (Economy and Development) and Paper 4 (Telangana Movement and State Formation) will be conducted on 13th November 2016. Answers / key for these examinations also will be provided on the same after the completion of the examination.
Paper 1 (General Studies and General Abilities) will be held from 10 AM to 12-30 PM and Paper 2 (History, Polity and Society) will be conducted from 2-30 PM to 5 PM on 11th November 2016. The official / preliminary key will not be released by the TSPSC on the same day.

TSPSC Group 2 Instructions 2016 - Candidates Not Allowed if Late for a Minute
The TSPSC (Telangana State Public Service Commission) has informed that the candidates appearing for the TSPSC Group 2 examination have to reach the examination centers at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
The TSPSC has made it clear that the candidates will not be allowed inside the exam hall if they are late for a minute to reach the exam center.
About 7.83 lakhs candidates will be appearing for the Group 2 examination. 6.32 lakhs candidates have downloaded the hall tickets so far from the TSPSC website. Detailed instructions are available on the website.
The candidates can contact at 040 - 24655555 / 2469 6666, 72888 96611 for any problems in downloading the Group 2 hall tickets. Candidates can reach the exam centers to avoid last minute pressure and focus on the examination.
