Armed Forces Medical Services Examination - 2017
Indian Army has issued notification for Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) Examination - 2017 to fill up the posts of medical officers posts in Indian Army through Short Service Commission (SSC). Only online registrations are accepted from 7 December to 29 December 2023 through www.amcsscentrv.qov.in .
Qualifications:
Candidates should have passed their final MBBS (Part-I and II) examination in first or second attempt and completed internship for grant of Short Service Commission in the Armed Forces Medical Services.
Applicants who have taken more than two chances in final MBBS (Part l and II) Examination are not eligible to apply. Candidates who have completed / completing their internship on or before 31 December 2023 only can apply. Age must be below 45 years as on 31 December 2017.

Indian Army announced Short Service Commission in Remount Veterinary Corps. Age of the candidates should be betweeen 21-32 years as on the last date of submission of application i.e 01 Sep 2016.
BVSc/BVSc and AH degree graduates, granted SSC in RVC will be considered for grant of permanent commission, only if they are below 30 years of age on the date of grant of SSC and if they qualify in the departmental permanent commission (PC) Test within 08 years of service.
Minimum qualifications: BVSc / BVSc & AH degree from any of the recognized Indian university or its equivalent foreign degree (i.e. the candidate must possess recognized veterinary qualification included in the first or second schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984).
Selection Method:
Short listing of applications and SSB Interviews: There will be Initial screening and short listing of applications at Directorate General Remount Veterinary Service, Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) before forwarding them to Recruiting Directorate, IHQ of MoD (Army). Candidates whose applications are found in order shall be detailed to appear for the Service Selection Board on a specified date.
Two stage selection procedure: The candidates under go Stage 1 of the "Two Stage Testing Procedure". Candidates failing in Stage I, will be sent back on the same day and those who qualify will be detailed to undergo Group Test, Psychological Test and Interview which will extend for a duration of 5 days. Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit, will be inducted for training in the order of merit depending upon the number of vacancies available.

Army Recruitment Rally in Secunderabad from 3rd November 2014
The Indian Army is conducting army recruitment rally in Secunderabad from 3rd November to 30th November 2014 at EMA Center. The soldiers recruitment rally will be conducted as per the following schedule:
Soldiers: Technical, General Duty, Tradesmen, Musician.
The candidates should be the children of martyrs or wives of martyrs, or children and brothers of serving soldiers. They only eligible for this army recruitment rally.
Candidates from all the states and union territories are eligible to participate in this recruitment rally. Interested candidates can attend for the rally from 3rd November to 30th November 2014.
Venue for the army recruitment rally: 1 EMA Center, 1 Training Battalion, Golden Jubilee Stadium, Secunderabad, Telangana. Candidates should report by 6 AM on the specified dates.

Indian Army 10 + 2 Technical Entry Scheme Course 33

Indian Army is conducting Army Recruitment Rally at Kodi Rama Murthy Stadium from 1st November 2014 to 8th November 2014. There are approximately 800 posts in various categories. Following are details of selection process and departments:
Eligible districts: Candidates from Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna districts of Andhra Pradesh and Yanam district of UT of Puducherry are eligible to participate in this rally.
Departments: Soldier Technical, Soldier Nursing Assistant, Soldier GD, Soldier Tradesmen (All Arms), Soldier Clerks / Store Keeper Technical, DSC (Ex-servicemen only).

Army Recruitment Rally in Guntur 9 - 20 October 2024
Indian Army is conducting recruitment rally in Guntur (Andhra Pradesh) for the benefit of the candidates from Rayalaseema districts (Chittoor, Kadapa, Kurnool and Anantapur) and prakasam, nellore and guntur districts. The recruitment rally is scheduled from 9th October to 20th October 2014.
