The APPSC Group 3 (Panchayat Secretary) cut off has been reduced in various districts following the implementation of negative marks in the evaluation of answer sheets. Candidates have been selected in 1:50 ratio in all the districts.
A total of 52750 candidates have been selected across the state. Highest cut off is in Prakasam district with 51.67 marks and Chittoor district has 32.21 cut off marks.
If there is clash with same cut offs, candidates with more age will be given preference. Panchayat Secretry Main examination will be held on 6th August 2017.
District wise cut offs are given below:
Srikakulam District: 47.65 marks
Vizianagaram district: 47.65 marks
Visakhapatnam district: 38.93 marks
East Godavari district: 43.96 marks
West Godavari district: 40.94 marks
Krishna district: 47.32 marks
Guntur district: 44.63 marks
Prakasam district: 51.67 marks
Nellore district: 32.89 marks
Chittoor district: 32.21 marks
Kadapa district: 41.95 marks

APPSC Changes Exam Dates for DL, Group 2 and Panchayat Secretary Main Exams - 2017
APPSC has changed the examination schedules for Group 2 main, Panchayat secretary main exams and Degree lecturers recruitment exams. The changed dates are as follows:
Group 2 Main: 15th and 16th July 2017
Panchayat Secretary Main: 6th August 2017
Degree college lecturers:
General Studies: 6th June 2017
English, Hindi, Economics, History, Mathematics, Botany, Statistics: 6th June
7th June: Biotechnology, Chemistry, Commerce, Telugu, Computer Science.
7th June: Computer Applications, Political Science, Zoology.
8th June : Microbiology, Physics.
No examination will be conducted for subjects of lecturers in Oriya, Urdu and Geology as no eligible candidates have applied for these posts. For Panchayat secretary posts, exam will be held in Hyderabad also.

APPSC Panchayat Secretary Expected Cut Off Marks of Screening Test - 2017
The APPSC has sent shocks to the candidates appeared for the Panchayat Secretary Preliminary / Screening test examination on 23 April 2017. The details of expected cut off are given below. The official key will be released by APPSC within two days.
The question paper was very tough and several students felt as if they have appeared for civil services or group 1 examination. The questions on rural development and issues were very tough for all the candidates. Those scored will in this section will make in to the Panchayat Secretary main exam.
Hence the cut off for the Main examination will be extremely low. The experts suggest the candidates who score around 60-65 out of 150 marks will make sure to main examination.
The cut off will be even less as the APPSC has implemented minus marks system for this exam. Current affairs and questions on bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh have got less priority in the question paper.

APPSC Panchayat Secretaries Exam Scheme and Important Dates - 2017
Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has announced recruitment notification for the posts of Panchayat Secretaries in Grade -4 (Group 3) category. The vacancies available are 1055. Age of the candidates should be between 18-42 years as on 1st July 2016.
The screening test for Panchayat Secretaries recruitment will be held on 23rd April 2017. The main examination will be held on 16th July 2017 for the shortlisted candidates.
Qualifications: Candidates should have passed in Degree in any discipline. Age relaxations are applicable as per the rules.
Scheme of the examination:
Paper 1: General Studies and Mental Ability: 150 marks
Paper 2: Rural Development and Problems in Rural Areas with special reference to Andhra Pradesh: 150 marks

APPSC Group 3 Notification for 1055 Panchayat Secretary Posts - 2016
APPSC is gearing up to issue Group 3 (Panchayat Secretaries) recruitment notification by the end of December 2016. The APPSC chairman Prof Uday Bhaskar has informed that the commission will release the Group 3 notification to fill 1055 posts of Panchayat Secretaries in AP.
He also informed that there are about 100 vacancies in Group 1 category. The Group 1 recruitment notification is also on the cards.
The APPSC has announced Group 2 notification for 982 posts and received about 2.5 lakhs applications till the date. 10th December 2016 is the last date for Group 1 application submission.
The preliminary examination for Group 2 will be held in February 2017 and main exam will be conducted in May 2017. AEE main examination will be conducted on 29th and 30th December 2016. About 34000 candidates were qualified for AEE main examination.
He also informed that there are about 100 vacancies in Group 1 category. The Group 1 recruitment notification is also on the cards.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has released the schedule for Panchayat Secretary recruitment. About 1000 vacancies of panchayat secretaries will be filled through this recruitment. The APPSC will release the notification in September 2016.

1000 Panchayat Secretaries Posts in Andhra Pradesh - Notification by September 2016
The APPSC (Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission) is gearing up to release recruitment notification for the posts of Panchayat Secretaries (Grade - 4) by the end of September 2016. The expected vacancies are 1000 (one thousand).
The APPSC Chairman Prof. Udaya Bhaskar has informed that the commission will release recruitment notifications for Panchayat Secretaries (PS), Assistant Executive Engineers (AEE), and other posts by this month end.
The APPSC Commissioner also assured that the candidates who are eligible for various posts through age relaxation GO will be allowed to write Group 2 and other recruitment exams for which notifications may be delayed.
The APPSC is likely to request the Government to make the age relaxation GO valid for one year or till the recruitment notification is released by APPSC.

APPSC Panchayat Secretaries Recruitment for 1000 Posts - Notification in 2016
APPSC will issue recruitment notification for the posts of Panchayat Secretaries (Grade 4) very soon in 2016. There are 1000 vacancies and these will be considered as Group 3 category posts. The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has also revised the syllabus for Group 3 recruitment which will be applicable to Panchayat Secretaries recruitment.
Qualifications: Candidates should have passed in Graduation / Degree in any discipline. The detailed guidelines will be issued by the APPSC / Government of Andhra Pradesh soon and will be displayed on the website.

10000 Vacancies in Andhra Pradesh - Groups, Constables, SI and Panchayat Secretaries Jobs 2016
The Government of Andhra Pradesh is gearing up to announced recruitment notification for about 1000 posts in various categories. The APPSC will have 4009 posts and Police Recruitment Board will be taking up the recruitment of 5991 posts for various categories of posts.

The AP Government has approved 10000 posts with vacancies in Group 1, Group 2 and Group 3 categories. There are 94 vacancies in Group 1, 750 vacancies in Group 2 and 1000 posts in Group 3 categories.
The Finance department has issued orders approving allocations for the recruitment. There are 422 vacancies in medical and health department.

1500 Panchayat Secretaries Posts in Andhra Pradesh - 2016
The Government of Andhra Pradesh is likely to fill 1500 Panchayat Secretaries posts very soon. The recruitment notification is getting ready and due for approval from Government.
There are 20000 posts in Andhra Pradesh in total which includes Group 1, Group 2, Group 4 and other posts. These posts will be filled by APPSC and departments concerned.
It is observed that the Government of AP may opt of two stage / phases recruitment for Panchayat Secretaries. First phase notification will be for 1000 posts and another notification for remaining 500 posts.
Candidates should have passed in Graduation in any discipline for the posts of Panchayat Secretaries. Written examination will have two papers. They are General studies and a paper on Rural Development and
Problems and issues.

2400 Panchyat Secretaries Posts in Andhra Pradesh - 2015
The Panchayat Raj Minister of Andhra Pradesh has announced that 2400 Panchayat Secretaries posts will be filled after the reconstitution of APPSC in the coming months. The expected candidates will be around 2400. The Government is likely to release Panchayat Secretaries Recruitment notification soon after the formation of new APPSC.
The Minister has said that the Panchayat Secretaries recruitment will be done with district as a unit. There are about 2400 vacancies in PR department of Andhra Pradesh as on the date. The detailed notification with district wise vacancies may be displayed on the website apspsc.gov.in .
The previous Andhra Pradesh government has recruited 2677 candidates for the panchayat secretary posts. The APPSC has conducted the entire recruitment process and the written examination was conducted on 23 February 2014.
The previous Panchayat Secretary posts notification was released on 30th December 2013 and written examination was held in February 2014. Details of written exam like syllabus, model question papers, old papers and bit banks will be made available on this site very soon.
