Government of Telangana is on the spree of recruitments. The Government has decided to fill as many as 26290 vacancies in police department in the coming three years.
The vacancies include police constables, sub inspectors, Circle inspectors, Dy. Superintendent of Police, etc.
Zonal system will be cancelled and only district and state cadres will be implemented in the new recruitments. Telangana state police recruitment board will fill the vacancies in the police department.
Out of the total 26290 vacancies available in the police department, 18290 vacancies will be new vacancies and about 8000 vacancies will be internal vacancies.

AP Police Constables Recruitment Final Selection List Released - 2017
Police Recruitment Board of Andhra Pradesh has released list of candidates selected for the posts of Constables in Civil and AR and Jail Warders categories.
Help desks have been set up in all the districts for the convenience of the candidates. Candidates can also contact at 94414 50639 for more information.
Out of the total selected candidates, 800 constables have been allotted for Godavari districts. About 220 posts remain vacant after the completion of the recruitment process.
All posts in Jail Warders category have been filled. In Civil constables category, only 1150 women candidates have been selected for the available 1287 vacancies. In AR category 190 women candidates were selected for the announced 253 posts. Details can be obtained from recruitment.appolice.gov.in .

SSC Sub Inspectors and Asst SI Posts in Delhi Police, CAPF and CISF - 2017
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued recruitment notification for the posts of Sub Inspectors and Assistant Sub Inspectors in Delhi Police, CRPF (Central Armed Police Forces) and CISF (Central Industrial Security Force). There will be all India level entrance examination for shortlisting the candidates.

Office of the Chairman, State Level Police Recruitment Board, Andhra Pradesh has released the provisional selection list of the candidates for SI (Sub Inspectors) in the categories of Civil, RSI, Deputy Jailor and Assistant Matron posts (Men and Women) for which the recruitment process has been completed.
The selection list has been released on 24th March 2017 and the same is available on the website recruitment.appolice.gov.in . The final written test was held on 18th and 19th February 2017.

AP Police Recruitment SI Final Exam Hall Tickets Download - 2017
Andhra Pradesh Police Recruitment Board has informed that the candidates who have got selected for the final written examination of SI posts (Sub Inspectors) can download hall tickets from the website recruitment.appolice.gov.in .
The hall tickets can be downloaded from 8th February 2017. The written examinations will be conducted on 18th and 19th February 2017.

AP Police Constables Prelims Official Preliminary Key for All Sets - 2016

It is estimated that 1,23,937 candidates were applied for SI posts in AP. 175 candidates are competing for each post. Out of these 1,12,355 are male and 11,582 are female candidates.
More than 30000 candidates with PG qualification have applied for these posts. Kurnool district is on top in terms of more number of applications and Nellore is in last position.
The preliminary written examination will be held on 27th November 2016 in two sessions. Paper 1 will be held from 10 AM to 1 PM and Paper 2 will be held from 2-30 PM to 5-30 PM. Hall tickets can be downloaded from the APSLPRB website.

The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board has conducted the final written examination for police constables recruitment on 23rd October 2016. About 80000 candidates have appeared for the final examination.
The key of the final written exam will be displayed on the TSLPRB website at www.tslprb.in in a day or two. The board has released notification in December 2015 for 9281 vacancies.
Vacancies are available in civil. special police, SPF and firemen categories. About 5 lakh candidates were appeared for the preliminary examination.
1.92 lakh candidates were qualified for the physical efficiency tests and physical measurement tests. Out of these, only 81358 shortlisted for the final written examination. The results of final written exam will be released soon.

1800 Home Guards Recruitment in Cyberabad and Rachakonda Police Commissionarates - 2016
The Hyderabad Police are recruiting candidates for home guards in the commissionarates of Cyberabad and Rachakonda. There are 1800 vacancies. Each commissionarate has 900 vacancies.

20000 Candidates Apply for APSLPRB Mechanic and Drive Posts - 2016
The Police Recruitment Board of Andhra Pradesh has received more than 20,000 applications for the posts of police mechanic and drivers announced recently. About 130 candidates are competing per each post in these categories.
The vacancies are 134 in drivers category and 25 in mechanics category. The minimum qualification is Intermediate for these posts.
Candidates with Degree, PG, B.Tech, M.Sc and MA qualifications have applied in thousands for these posts. 2271 B.Tech qualified, 1123 Diploma qualified, 501 PG qualified and 12078 Intermediate qualified candidates have applied for these vacancies.
The selections will be through PET and written exams. PET will be conducted in fourth week of November 2016. Candidates can modify the data uploaded in the website as per the schedule of the APSLPRB.

It is estimated that 126 candidates are competing for each post. The APSLPRB has received 62319 applications from the candidates. 48 candidates are there with PG and Degree qualifications through prescribed qualification is Intermediate / Diploma.
2280 candidates are there with PG qualifications, 27550 candidates applied with Degree qualifications, and another 4659 are with professional qualifications.

SSC - Delhi Police Constables Written Exam Pattern 2016
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct a computer based written examination on 4th March 2017 for the posts of constables (male and female) in Delhi police as mentioned below. The vacancies are 3115 for male candidates and 1554 posts for female candidates.
Following is the written examination pattern for the posts of temporary constables (executives) through Delhi Police Recruitment - 2016. The written examination will be held on 4th March 2017.
Reasoning: 35 questions - 35 marks
General Knowledge / Current Affairs: 50 questions - 50 marks
Numerical Ability: 15 questions - 15 marks
Duration of the exam is 90 minutes. Candidates those qualified in Physical Efficiency and Measurement Test will be shortlisted for computer based written examination.
