Indian Navy Stewards, Chefs and Hygienists - October 2017 Batch
The Indian Navy invites applications from unmarried male candidates for enrollment as stewards, chefs and hygienists for MR / NMR - October 2017 Batch course commencing from October 2017.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have qualified in Matriculation (10th) class for MR and VIth class for NMR entry. Age should be between 17 to 21 years as on 1 October 2024 (should have born between 1 October 2024 and 30 September 2000.
Training and Stipend:
During the training period, a stipend of Rs. 5700 per month will be admissible. On completion of initial training, they will be placed in the Pay Band Rs 5200-20200.
Selection Procedure:
Selection of candidates is based on the order of merit on their performance in written examination, qualifying physical fitness test (PFT) and fitness in medical examinations.
Nature of Written Test:
The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi and English) and objective type only. The written exam question paper for Stewards and Chefs will comprise of four sections i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and General Knowledge and will be of one hour duration.

The Indian Navy has announced B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme (10+2) through Permanent Commission for the course to be commenced from January 2018.
Qualifications: Candidates should have passed in 10+2 / Intermediate / HSC and need physical requirements as per the guidelines of Indian Navy.

Superintendent (Store): 35 Posts. Qualification: Applicants should have Graduation / Degree in Science with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics and need basic computer knowledge on database management with one year relevant experience.
Store Keeper (Erstwhile Assistant Store Keeper): 184 Posts.
Qualification: Applicants need 10 + 2 with one year experience.
Age: Between 18 to 25 years.
