TSPSC has released the dates of main examinations to be conducted for the recruitment of Gurukulams in Telangana state. The dates of PGT, TGT, Physical Directors have been released by TSPSC.
The examinations will start from 29th June 2017. Subject wise examination schedule has been released by TSPSC:

Hall Tickets for Telangana Gurukulam Recruitment Preliminary Exam - 2017
The candidates who have applied for various vacancies announced by TSPSC for Telangana Gurukulams can download hall tickets from TSPSC website. The preliminary exam / screening test will be held on 31st May 2017 across the state of Telangana.
The TSPSC has clarified that the candidates with mehendi and wrist watches will not be allowed into the examination hall. Women candidates should not wear jewelry.
The TSPSC has also informed that the purse, calculators and other electronic gadgets will not be allowed inside exam hall.
Candidates have to come to the exam with hall ticket and any ID proof in original like passport, PAN card, Voter ID, Aadhaar card etc. Candidates will be allowed into the exam center till 9-45 AM.

Telangana BC Study Circle Free Coaching for Gurukulam Recruitment - 2017
Telangana Backward Classes Welfare Department has announced free coaching scheme for the BC candidates those applying for teachers and other posts announced by Telangana Residential Educational Institutions (Telangana Gurukulams).
Candidates can apply online through tsbcstudycircles.cgg.gov.in . Free coaching will be imparted to all the eligible BC candidates.

TSPSC Cancels All Gurukulam Recruitment Notifications - 2017
TSPSC has cancelled all the recruitment notifications that have been released for various posts in Telangana Gurukulams (Residential Educational Institutions). The TSPSC has issued recruitment notifications for 7306 posts in various Gurukulams.
There has been so much criticism on TSPSC regarding eligibility for various posts. TET qualification has been made compulsory for TGT vacancies. 55 percent in graduation is another requirement that ignited the dissatisfaction among the aspirants.
The vacancies in the notifications include principals, junior lecturers, TGTs, PGTs, craft teachers, music teachers, staff nurse and other vacancies. TSPSC has requested respective Gurukulams for new eligibility conditions. New notifications will be issued after revision of eligibility requirements.
A committee has been formed to look into the qualifications for various posts. The new notifications will be issued only after the observations of the committee are submitted to TSPSC.

TSPSC Gurukulam Recruitment 2017 - No First Class, No TET and No Experience Required
The Government of Telangana has made several relaxations in the recruitment process of Gurukulams. The notification issued by TSPSC has made it mandatory to have 60 percent marks (first class) in Degree / Post Graduation to be eligible for various posts. Candidates have protested this rule and the Chief Minister has intervened to remove that condition.
The CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao has ordered the TSPSC to follow the guidelines of NCTE with regard to the recruitment of TGT, PGT, and other related vacancies.
The application process has been deferred due to the change in qualifications and TSPSC will announce fresh online application schedule soon. As per the statement of KCR, those passed the qualifying exam in second class also can apply for Gurukulam posts.

The TSPSC is likely to issue recruitment notification to fill vacancies in the newly established SC and ST Gurukulams (250 schools), Minority Gurukulams (160 schools) and BC Gurukulams (119 schools).

The Government of Telangana has sanctioned 240 posts for Telangana Backward Classes Residential Junior Colleges. The Government is converting 16 BC Residential schools into junior colleges from the academic year 2016-17.
All the 240 vacancies will be filled through direct recruitment. Another 192 posts will be filled through outsourcing basis. Apart from these, the Government of Telangana also fill the following vacancies for non teaching positions:

Out of the total 775 vacancies, 657 posts will be filled on regular basis and remaining 118 posts will be filled on outsourcing basis. The Chief Minister has ordered the authorities to send the vacancy details of Gurukulams to TSPSC. The Government has earlier sent list of 2444 vacancies regarding Gurukulams recruitment.
The TSPSC is yet to receive the details of vacancies available in Tribal, SC welfare residential schools / colleges (Gurukulams). It is estimated that about 3200 vacancies are available in these schools.
The TSPSC is proposed to issue recruitment notification for 2444 posts. But it may wait for the remaining posts as per the Government orders and announce notification for all the vacancies in a week.

313 Posts in Telangana Gurukulams - TSPSC Residential Educational Institutions Recruitment - 2016
The Government of Telangana has approved 313 vacancies in Telangana Residential Educational Institutions Society (TREIS) for the year 2016. These vacancies will be filled by TSPSC (Telangana State Public Service Commission).
The vacancies in 47 schools and 4 junior colleges will be filled by TSPSC. The vacancies are as follows:
Junior Lecturers: 6 posts
PGT (Post Graduate Teachers): 195 posts
TGT (Trained Graduate Teachers)
Physical Education Teachers (PET): 32 posts
Art Teachers: 45 posts
Staff Nurse: 35 posts
Apart from these 2444 posts in Social Welfare Residential Schools also will be filled by TSPSC soon. All these posts will be filled through single notification by TSPSC.

1794 New Posts in Telangana SC Gurukulam Schools and Degree Colleges - 2016
The Government of Telangana has approved 1794 posts in SC Gurukulams to meet the teaching and non teaching staff requirements in the newly established Gurukulam Schools, Women degree colleges etc. The TSPSC has been entrusted with the responsibilities of recruitment for these posts.
The Government has already approved 758 posts a few days back. With the addition of 1794 new posts, the vacancies are at 2552.
New vacancies in Telangana SC Gurukulams - 2016:
Gurukulam Schools: Principal - 31, TGT - 721, PET - 103, Art Teachers - 47, Music Teachers - 56, Librarians - 103, Staff Nurses - 103.
Residential Women Degree Colleges: Principal - 30, Lecturers - 510, Librarians - 30, Physical Directors - 30, Health Supervisors - 30.
Posts already approved: Principal - 12, TGT - 560, PET - 79, Arts / Music Teachers - 52, Craft Teachers - 3, Librarians - 34, Staff Nurse - 18.

TSPSC Notification for 2444 Posts in Telangana Gurukulam Schools and Colleges - 2016
TSPSC (Telangana State Public Service Commission) chairman Prof Ghanta Chakrapani has informed that the commission will be releasing recruitment notification for various posts in Telangana Gurukulams (Schools, Junior Colleges and Degree Colleges) in the first week of August 2016.
He mentioned that there are 2444 vacancies in various positions in Telangana Gurukulams. The posts include teachers, principals, junior lecturers and degree college lecturers, librarians, physical education teachers etc.
The TSPSC has been entrusted with filling all the vacancies in Telangana Gurukulams. There will be written examination for shortlisting the candidates.
Qualified and interested candidates may apply online only through TSPSC website www.tspsc.gov.in for the mentioned posts. Details of exam, syllabus and post wise vacancies will be available on the website after the announcement of notification by TSPSC.

Telangana Gurukulams Degree College Lecturers: Following is the scheme of recruitment examination and syllabus for the posts of Degree college lecturers. The TSPSC will issue recruitment notification to fill these posts. Following is the exam structure and syllabus:
Preliminary Exam (Screening Test):
Paper - I: General Studies, General Ability and Basic Proficiency in English: 150 questions for 150 marks. Duration of the exam is 150 minutes.
Main Examination:
Paper - I: Subject Discipline Knowledge / Concerned Subject - 150 questions for 150 marks. Duration of the test is 150 minutes.
There will be personal interview / demonstration / viva - voce for 30 marks. The TSPSC will issue recruitment notifications for all the posts in Telangana Gurukulam Schools, Colleges etc.

Telangana Gurukulams Junior Lecturers Recruitment Exam: The Government of Telangana has released scheme of examination, syllabus for Telangana Gurukulam vacancies. The vacancies are available in the positions of teachers, junior lecturers, degree lecturers and physical education teachers etc. TSPSC will issue notifications for these posts very soon.
